Life's greatest pleasures are in the details

I finished putting the molding in my bedroom. That tiny detail makes the biggest difference. When I look around the room it feels real; finished. Sorry about this terrible picture, but it's almost 11pm and I wanted to post this. Besides, I think you may even have a hard time spotting what I'm showcasing. Instead of having huge gaps between the bottom of the baseboard and the floor (where any kind of beasty could crawl out from), it looks like the walls actually hit the floor. The process involved lots of sawing and drilling. I mentioned before that my dad and Ann took me to Home Depot for the necessaries, here's my miter saw. I must say, this is a very cool tool. I know it will come in handy besides the miles of molding I will be installing in this house. Next to it is another one of my prized possessions, my cordless drill. Also a gift from Daddy when I first went off to college. The first side is in. Jacques helped for a while… and then found the mirror lying on my bed a much more interesting place to be. Mirror Mirror, on the wall…

I love it. I wish I had huge molding like that. I love the color on the walls too. :)
